Zero Street Children in the Philippines Campaign

The Asian Community Center 21 (ACC21) and the Asian Conference of Religions for Peace Tokyo (ACRP Tokyo) have been working to contribute to the “Zero Street Children in the Philippines ” in Japan since February 2023 to ensure that the human rights of “street children” are protected and that they can receive education and lead healthy lives as members of society.


To carry out the above idea, ACC21 and ACRP Tokyo will extend financial support to help the Philippine NGOs and youth organizations that promote the activities to contribute to the empowerment of children in street situations. (CiSS). For the fiscal year 2024 (September 2024-March 2025), we invite a concept paper for a project, concerned with any of the following activities listed below:

  • Formal / informal education of children / youth in the street situations;
  • Child protection for children / youth in the street situations;
  • Advocacy for children / youth in the street situations;
  • Creation of networking of NGOs/youth organizations concerned with CiSS

A concept paper may be prepared in English and is to be submitted via email by noon time of August 19, 2024, Monday in the Philippines.
After reviewing the concept papers, the secretariat will contact applicant organization(s) regarding the submission of additional documents for the selected projects.
